Hemler Mauricette is an internationally acclaimed, self-taught, Haitian artist and a survivor of the devastating 2010 Haitian earthquake. His paintings have been viewed worldwide including venues in France, Spain, and the U.S. Hemler’s mission is to use art as a universal language to display his inner wealth, emotions and love. “Through myself I find art and through art I find myself more, which gives me a better understanding about the person I am today,” says Hemler. His art embodies a passionate optimism which he maintains as his outlook for the future of the planet.
