Must see art exhibit shows off talent of DMC employees, family, patients and volunteers

More than 177 paintings, drawings, prints, textiles and photographs were submitted by staff, family, volunteers and patients, youth and adult, to what is an exciting event that reveals a wealth of artistic talent at DMC.

Art contest winners have been selected, but the exhibit continues through June 24. Visitors to the exhibit can still vote to select two winners for a people's choice award.

The artwork is on display at Harper/Hutzel Hospital lower level near the tunnel, and Children's Hospital of Michigan, lower level also near the tunnel. With titles like "My Doll and Unknown Place," "Red Horses, 2012,"  "An Ode to a Clothesline,"  and "Bikes, Bikes, Bikes, 2012," the exhibit holds something for everyone to enjoy.
