Louise Hallauer

Louise has been teaching the Children's Art Adventures and Adult Drawing Class at the Osceola Center For The Arts since 1996, she also is a resident artist at the Cafe Tu Tu Tango's on International Drive. She has shown her work at many different venues in the Central and Southern part of Florida, - including the Spring Winter Park Art Festival, Las Olas Art Festival, Maitland Art Festival, Celebration Art Festival, First Thursdays At OMA, and Dexters Of Thornton Park,- just to mention a few. She studied Graphic Design at Wigan College of Art and was born in Lancashire, England. She worked as a Graphic Artist for five years with an English company called The Rank Organization in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida to persue her career in fine art. Louise's work is bright, bold and very colorful. She works mainly in Acrylics & Color pencil. When once asked "what do you paint?" her reply was - "wild women, cats & dogs -and it is certainly art work that won't match your sofa!!!!"
