Complete this entry form to participate in the 10th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for the State of Delaware employees and their family members.  The show will be a fully virtual presentation and there is no fee to enter the program.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of the State of Delaware.
  • Only 1 entry per artist will be admitted.
  • All entries will be submitted via email and must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years.
  • The National Arts Program and the Delaware Division of the Arts reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

Adult
  • Amateur – a person with little or no experience
  • Intermediate – a person with some experience, beginning art students, etc
  • Professional – a person with serious art training or employed in an art-related job

Artwork will be judged in the classification of the artist’s selection; however, in some cases, the exhibition judges will make the final determination.

Rules of Exhibit

  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than January 25, 2021
  • Delivering Entries In addition to your registration form, please submit a high resolution JPEG, PNG, or TIFF image by Monday, January 25, 2021 via email to:  delarts@delaware.gov   (Your email must have "NAP Entry" in the subject line, and include your attached image, artist name, artist category, and artwork title.)
  • Reception & Awards An awards announcement date has yet to be determined. Participants will be updated via email when details have been determined.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • A Best of Show Award of $400
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • An Art Education Award of $200
    • Additional awards including Honorable Mentions will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit This virtual exhibit is free and will be made available online beginning February 15, 2021. 
  • Liability In the event of a small, live show of the winning artwork, every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program, Delaware Division of the Arts nor the State of Delaware can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or unforeseen circumstances.  The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program and Delaware Division of the Arts reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program in the State of Delaware is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
