Complete this entry form to participate in the 14th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for the Pinellas County Government. There is no fee to enter the program.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be an employee, retiree, active volunteer, intern or a member of their immediate families. Employees and volunteers of the Sheriff, State Attorney, Public Defender, Medical Examiner, Juvenile Welfare Board and Courts Administration may also participate.
  • Only 2 entries per artist will be admitted.
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years.
  • The National Arts Program and Pinellas County reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

Adult
  • Amateur – a person with little or no experience
  • Intermediate – a person with some experience, beginning art students, etc
  • Professional – a person with serious art training or employed in an art-related job

Artwork will be judged in the classification of the artist’s selection; however, in some cases, the exhibition judges will make the final determination.

Display
The 2021 Art Show is virtual so your artwork is not required to be framed or mounted. Please answer the following questions in case there are future opportunities for display.
For 2-dimensional art such as photographs, is it framed? For 3-dimensional art such as sculptures or crafts, is there a stand or box for presentation?

Rules of Exhibit

  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than October  1, 2021
  • Delivering Entries In addition to your registration form, please submit a high resolution JPEG image by October 11, 2021 via email to: employee.communications@pinellascounty.org.
  • Reception & Awards Award winners will be announced via a virtual presentation on November 8, 2021. 
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • A Best of Show Award of $400 
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • An Art Education Award of $200
    • Honorable Mention Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is virtual and will be made viewable to the public beginning October 25, 2021.
  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither The National Arts Program nor Pinellas County can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or unforeseen circumstances. The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program Foundation and Pinellas County reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program in Pinellas County, FL is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
