Union County, New Jersey holds 11th Annual NAP Exhibition

This was Coordinator Libby Reid’s eleventh year working on The National Arts Program® Exhibit in Union County. This year brought an unfortunate turn of events for the show as layoffs occurred across the board for city employees cutting nearly ten percent of the workforce. Although this did effect participation the show was nevertheless a beautiful collection of work by the employees and their talented families.

As always many Freeholders were in attendance at the May 9th reception and also helped to hand out the awards. The reception was also catered and included live music by the “Meant to Be” band. After the exhibit ended on May 30th the winning entries traveled to the Freeholders Gallery for display through July 16th.

We are so appreciative of Libby’s hard work in promoting the show and we have high hopes that additional participants can be reached in the surrounding area to make an even more wonderful 2013 show!
