Steady Growth for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport

“My Airport” Andrew Panner; Youth 12 & Under Works on Paper; Relative, Caribou Coffee

This was the fourth year for MSP International Airport and the exhibit opened to rave reviews on November 26th. The show hangs each year in the C Concourse Gallery which gets a tremendous amount of foot traffic from airport passengers. The National Arts Program® staff often receives comments about this show from our affiliates across the nation that have traveled through MSP Airport and seen this show for themselves. This busy concourse is the perfect setting for their NAP show and reception which accommodated over 300 attendees for the December 6th awards ceremony. As always, Sue Gens, Executive Director for the Minneapolis State Arts Board was present to honor the artists as well as Denny Probst MSP Airport Executive VP, and Jana Vaughn Airport Foundation MSP Executive Director.

Over 200 artworks are beautifully displayed in the C Concourse Gallery now through April 30th. The show was extremely well organized thanks to Coordinators Patty Lupkowski and Robyne Robinson as well as the many volunteers. We look forward to celebrating their fifth anniversary show next year as well as their continued growth.
