Returning Artists in Tulsa Recognized for their Talents

Many artists from the previous year’s NAP exhibition returned to enter new artwork in the Seventh Annual Exhibition for Tulsa, OK employees and their family members.  Two of these returning artists were not only awarded prizes in their respective categories, they were able to improve their placement from the previous year.  Emma Hammer, a Youth 12 & Under artist who was previously awarded Second Place, won First Place for her piece entitled, “Birch River” (pictured) and Gary Deerinwater, an Intermediate artists who won First Place last year, was awarded Best of Show for his piece entitled, “God Provides”.

One of the main goals of the National Arts Program® is to encourage our participants to continue their art education and training.  We even offer a Matching Scholarship to each of our venues specifically for this use.  So we are always glad to see that returning artist are advancing their placement in our exhibitions by working hard to improve their artistic skills.
