Reno-Tahoe International Airport Coordinator to Hand Over Reigns

Westin Maritt with his Third Place Award in the Youth 12 & Under category for his sculpture "Sanuke".

According to long-time coordinator Mary Lee Mansfield this year’s exhibit was one of the best! Mary said, “I can’t tell you how many positive comments we received from both the employees of the airport as well as the traveling public.” Their 14th Annual Exhibit included works from 112 artists and was displayed in the depARTures gallery at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, NV once again for all to enjoy!

The awards reception and event took place on May 18th and had a fantastic turnout with approximately 150 guests. Just prior to the event, mandates were lifted on all airports and so it was perhaps the first time this community was able to see each other’s smiling faces again. We are sure it was a happy gathering and celebration for all in attendance!

Our long-time coordinator for Reno-Tahoe International Airport is officially retiring after putting on another successful showcase. Mary Lee Mansfield is nothing short of incredible and her extraordinary efforts have made this show what it is today. She will be greatly missed, and we hope she will come back, participate, and enjoy the show next year from a new perspective! Congratulation to you Mary! We look forward to a new coordinator that will carry on this wonderful tradition.
