Participation Doubles in Casper, Wyoming

The Nicolaysen Art Museum was kind enough to once again offer their space as the site for the City of Casper National Arts Program® Exhibition. This was their sixth year and Coordinator Vicky Macy did a fabulous job of increasing participation in the exhibit. The number of participant more than doubled from last year and included, in Vicky’s words, “truly exceptional works”.

Vicky added open voting for People’s Choice awards in all five categories which helped to draw the viewing public into the show and encouraged them to spend time contemplating the works. The show, which included 117 works, hung in the Museum for the entire month of June and wrapped up with the annual NIC Fest.
