Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND Joins the NAP

The National Arts Program® was pleased to welcome our first venue in the state of North Dakota; Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB). GFAFB is not only the first venue in the state, but is also the first military base to join the NAP. Partnering with VSA North Dakota to host the exhibition, more than 70 pieces of artwork from military members, both active and retired, and their immediate family members were displayed in the Community Center located on the base.

The exhibition was on display from November 1st through November 12th and received rave reviews from visitors. Linda Olsrud, our Coordinator from VSA North Dakota, and Linda DePaolo of GFAFB both stated that, "The quality of artwork on display was just exceptional. This show exceeded all expectations!"

The NAP looks forward to seeing more great artwork from GFAFB in the future!
