6th Annual City of Manchester Employee and Family Art Show

A reception and awards ceremony for the City of Manchester 6th Annual Employee and Family Art Show will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 22, in the aldermanic chambers at City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza.

The show, part of the “Art on the Wall at City Hall” Gallery, features artistic works from the various departments throughout the City, retirees and the Manchester School District.
The works are divided into three adult categories: amateur, intermediate and professional. Two youth categories are also featured: 12 and under and teen. The first, second and third place winners in each of the categories will receive a cash prize. Prizes will also be awarded in the Mayor’s Choice, Governor’s Choice and People’s Choice category. The winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges.

The City Employee and Family Art Show is made possible by the National Arts Program® of Malverne, Pa., who sponsors municipal art shows across the country providing prize money and support services to participating municipalities.

The public is invited to view the show during the hours that City Hall is open to the public (8 a.m.– 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and Tuesday until 8 p.m.) and vote for the People’s Choice Award. The 6th Annual City Employee & Family Art Show will be in display through August 30.
