Complete this entry form to participate in the 11th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport employees and their family members. There is no fee to enter the program.


  • Participants must be an employee, retiree, or volunteer of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (tenants, airlines, the Metropolitan Airports Commission, etc.) or an immediate family member of an employee/retiree/volunteer.
  • Only 2 entries per artist will be admitted
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years.
  • The National Arts Program and Arts@MSP reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

  • Amateur – a person with little or no experience

Artwork will be judged in the classification of the artist’s selection; however, in some cases, the exhibition judges will make the final determination.
Preparing Entries
  • Entrants may submit only two entries which fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off).
  • All 2-dimensional entries must be framed, ready to hang with wire securely on the back, and measure no more than 48" in any direction or weigh no more than 40 lbs.
  • All free standing 3-dimensional artwork must measure no more than 48" wide by 48" tall by 30" deep or weigh no more than 100 lbs.
  • All hanging 3-dimensional artwork must measure no more than 36" wide by 36" tall by 18" deep or weigh no more than 40 lbs.
  • Artwork that does not meet size limitations or specifications will be disqualified before judging.

Rules of Exhibit

  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than Friday, October 22, 2021.
  • Delivering Entries All entries must be delivered to MSP Terminal 1, East Curbside, Door 7 on Tuesday, October 26 or Wednesday, October 27 between the hours of 9am - 5pm.
  • Reception & Awards If possible, a reception and presentation of awards will be held on Thursday, December 16 from 6pm - 8pm. An announcement will be made if the reception is able to take place.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • A Best of Show Award of $400
      • An Art Education Award of $200
    • Honorable Mention Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is free and will be open to the public in the Concourse C Art Gallery in MSP Terminal 1 from December 10, 2021 - May 27, 2022.
  • Retrieving Entries Each artist is responsible for retrieving his/her artwork from MSP Terminal 1, East Curbside, Door 7 on Tuesday, May 31 or Wednesday, June 1 between 9am - 5pm.  No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither the Airport Foundation MSP nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.
  • Liability Every  attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program nor the Airport  Foundation  MSP can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or unforeseen circumstances.  The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program and the Airport Foundation MSP reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program in Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, MN is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
