Complete this entry form to participate in the 13th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program® for the Atlantic Health System. There is no fee to enter the program.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be a team member, volunteer/intern, retiree or an immediate family member of one of the above at Atlantic Health System.
  • Only 1 entry per artist will be admitted. 
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years.
  • Not accepted: kits; paint-by number pieces; magazine or book illustrations, random snapshots.
  • The National Arts Program® and Atlantic Health System reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

Adult
  • Amateur – a person with little or no experience
  • Intermediate – a person with some experience, beginning art students, etc

Artwork will be judged in the classification of the artist’s selection; however, in some cases, the exhibition judges will make the final determination.

  • Entrants may submit one entry which fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork must be submitted via high quality JPEG image. Details regarding emailing your image will be sent to you after registering.

Rules of Exhibit

  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than  Monday, October 5, 2020
  • Delivering Entries A high resolution JPEG image must be received no later than Monday, October 5th, 2020.
  • Awards Announcement This virtual exhibit will be professionally judged based on the art image submitted by the artist at the time of registration. The virtual show and presentation of awards will occur on October 26th.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • A Best of Show Award of $400
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • An Art Education Award of $200
    • Honorable Mention Awards will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is free and will be viewable online from October 26 - November 2, 2020.
  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program nor Atlantic Health can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or any unforeseen circumstances.  The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program and Atlantic Health reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program at Atlantic Health, NJ is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
