I’m Glad to participate in this exhibit. Architect originally from Colombia. About six years ago, my wife and I left Colombia and came to the States. Painting is my favorite hobby. I would say that since I was a child, I have painted in different techniques without a really formal training. When I was attending middle school in Bogotá, I received some training on oil in a study of a local artist. Couple of years later, I received a scholarship to study graphic design which I did for about a year only and I realized that oil on stretched canvas was my favorite technique.

After I’ve got my high school diploma, I went to college to study civil engineering ... it was a total chaos, I only completed one semester there. It was not what I liked to be. In 1985 I went back to College and this time ... a complete success! I’ve got graduated with honors from the Faculty of Architecture in 1990 which has being my passion ever since. Then, in 1999 I earned a Master’s Degree in Urban Management. During those years at college I didn’t work on oil as I wanted; the college required a lot of dedication. Now that I have more free time, I am enjoying the opportunity to use my time on my favorite hobby; oil painting.
