I have enjoyed taking photographs since I was a child, and learned about rudimentary black and white film processing in high school and in one college course. Over the course of the past year or so I have gotten more seriously involved with digital photography, and I love travel and time lapse photography.

La Hicaca Lights

This was taken in the town of La Hicaca in rural Honduras; shot with a Nikon D80 on a tripod with the shutter open for approx 30 seconds, this shot was taken on a medical relief trip; the building in the background is a schoolhouse where we slept. The individuals in the foreground (participants on the trip) each created their "letters" with different flashlights.
