Spotlight on Naomi Strom-Avila, City of Tacoma Coordinator
Naomi Strom-Avila does an incredible job of coordinating our City of Tacoma, WA Exhibition and this year was no exception! With more than 130 pieces by 79 artists, Naomi manages everything from the intake of the artwork to getting it all displayed at the two municipal buildings downtown. This year, in honor of their fifth year with the program, Naomi was presented the NAP's Fifth Anniversary Award for all her hard work over the years.Fifth Year Shines for Tacoma, WA

The City of Tacoma celebrated five years with the National Arts Program® this past week with a record number of participants.
About the Tacoma, WA NAP Exhibit
The City of Tacoma NAP Exhibit is held in Tacoma, Washington. Artists invited to participate in this exhibition include Ciyt of Tacoma employees, retiree, volunteers and their immediate family members. The National Arts Program® is pleased to provide materials and funding for this visual art exhibit including certificates for all participants and $2,400 in cash prizes.
