Jump Shot
Tony Waldron
Jump Shot
Painting
This painting was developed over the course of two days using Montana Gold spray paint, black acrylic paint and paint markers. The inspiration was a photo of a jump shot with the Taj Mahal in background. The jump silhouette exhibits happiness and excitement, which Tony expresses with the color selection of the background. The arched frame was painted to mimic the brick arches that are present in the surrounding space. The painting measures 92 inches tall by 102 inches wide. Tony always signs his paintings with a TW in the lower right corner, where the T is made to look like bull horns.
