I did this for the 1997 Pennsylvania Maple Festival Art Show, an annual event held in Meyersdale, PA.
Inspiration: If aliens from other worlds come to earth, who's to say that they come for egocentric humanity? Why not Maple trees? Why not Maple sugar? A sweet thought!
