Libby Reid is a cartoonist because she just can’t stop noticing stuff. "Do You Hate Your Hips More Than Nuclear War?" and "You Don’t Have to Pet to Be Popular", two fine books of her cartoons were published by Viking/Penguin. Her cartoon essays, "Dr. Trudy True, Cartoon Therapist" and "City Woman’s Home Companion" ran in the New York Daily News weekly for many years. She lives in a 150 year old Rahway, NJ house and swears it is not haunted. She is very happy to be the coordinator for NAP in Union County since 2002. As an employee of the Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs she has the great pleasure of meeting many, many talented artists of all ages and enjoys supporting their creativity. |
