Participating Artist Entertains Awards Reception Guests in Manchester

The seventh annual NAP Exhibit in the City of Manchester opened on July 6th this year and filled the city hall gallery with wonderful art creations from city workers and their families, retirees and school district employees. Mayor Ted Gatsas, a true supporter of the show, attended the July 26th reception and posed with the artists after the awards were given out. Manchester’s reception is always a fun filled and well attended event and this year was no different. Coordinator Vicki Ferraro organized sponsors, catering, media coverage, and professional photography for the event. One aspect that really added to the experience for guests was a live musical performance by artist Lee Boissonneault, who played one of his cigar box ukuleles, similar to the one he won first place with.

This year’s exhibit will be on display through August 30th and although participation numbers were down a bit from last year, the quality of artwork was excellent and we are looking forward to another great show for 2013!
