Camden County NAP Winner featured in Local Paper

A winning painting in the recently opened Camden County, NJ NAP show was featured in the online newspaper mycentraljersey.com.

The painting by artist Jocelynn Tice, was a profile view of a boy's downward gaze before a light blue sky, and a winner in the Profesional category at the 5th Annual National Arts Program competition. "At the opening show, his principal was there," Tice said. "I think it's very good when you do a portrait of someone and people recognize them."The portrait, which Tice titled "Piercing the Clouds," is on display until Saturday at the Hopkins House on South Park Drive, along with about 200 other works from local artists. "I was shocked," Tice said of winning the contest. "There is a lot of talent around here."
